Debi is a seasoned leader in biopharmaceutical business development with more than 30 years of experience driving growth and innovation with experience in operations, business development, and venture. Prior to joining Third Arc Bio, Debi had a distinguished tenure at Johnson & Johnson (J&J) Innovative Medicines. She started her career in sales and marketing and grew into increasing roles of responsibility in business development working across oncology, neuroscience, and infectious disease. In her last role at J&J, Debi worked for JJDC as a biotech investor.

Debi worked in business development for over 15 years and spent a decade as the Global Head of Oncology Business Development, where her responsibilities included licensing, M&A, search & evaluation as well as alliance management.

Under her leadership, the oncology team executed several important transactions, including Legend Biotech (BCMA CAR-T/CARVYKTI®), Tesaro (niraparib/ZEJULA®), Yuhan (lazertinib/ RYBREVANT® + LAZCLUZE™), TARIS (erdafitinib/BALVERSA®), and many others. These transactions have led to significant transformation in patient care and enabled exceptional growth for the J&J oncology portfolio.

With her guidance, the Oncology team also managed key alliances including Pharmacyclics/Abbvie, Genmab, Legend, Yuhan, argenx and Tesaro/GlaxoSmithKline (GSK). In her last role at J&J, she worked for JJDC, J&J Innovation. In that role, Debi invested in several companies and served on the boards of Perceive Bio, TRex Bio, ArteraAI and Serotiny. Debi graduated with a BA from the University of Connecticut.
